"My World as I see it."
2002 - For many years I would not sell my work, instead I would put (NSF) Not for Sale for art ALL exhibits, shows, and events. I’ve never painted for the money! Having double majored with two bachelors, one in marketing and the other in general business (administration) both concentrated in accounting; I never allowed myself to become a starving artist. I admit I have been a selfish painter. I painted for myself. My paintings just simply are part of me and I have trouble parting with them. In the past it was hard giving something so precious away and never seeing it again. Every time I finish any piece, it's because I’m at peace with my inspiration. It just helps me move further to my center of awe. I guess you could say I feel through the paint and pencils. They become a part of me who I am, and how I feel.
Almost 8 years ago I started Angelina's Fine Art & Photography, LLC. I will admit I stopped painting for myself, but have been painting for the classes and lots and lots of it. Everything is for Sale these days, expect my old originals. I find myself missing my artist side more than ever. I have proudly become an Art instructor. I try to make everything simple and fun. God gave me talent and I want to share it to the world. I’m finding myself teaching Art Therapy more than ever. I now have over 300 students who have painted with my guidance and more growing each year.
Guard me as if I were the pupil in your eye.
Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
